Who is Nanashi Uchiha? The Storm Connections original character, explained
Nanashi Uchiha is a game-original character introduced in Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections (Bandai Namco, 2023) — not a character from the Naruto or Boruto manga. Search interest around the name spikes whenever the game is re-released or featured, and a lot of it comes from people asking exactly one question: “who is Nanashi Uchiha?”
Not a manga character — an important distinction
Despite the surname, Nanashi has no established manga counterpart. The character exists in the game's original story mode. Treat any “manga appearance” claim with skepticism — as of now there is no Shadow Rising connection either.
Role in Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections
Nanashi appears in the game's special story mode, which ties together highlights of the Naruto and Boruto sagas with a new original scenario built around the character.
Could Nanashi appear in Shadow Rising?
There is no announcement, teaser hint or leak indicating that game-original characters will cross into the new manga. Until Jump Festa 2027 says otherwise, the honest answer is: unknown, and no reason to assume it.
